David and Goliath

Oil on canvas

CLICK HERE for input and inspiration about this painting

David defeated the giant Goliath. The historical event is seen in the camel.

Desert wandering in search of solution and land. In the camel's body, bronze-clad Goliath is seen lying with his fist in the ground.
In the camel's light and dark ears, you see "sun and shadow clashing." When the camel is in heat, its tongue hangs out and puffs up, just as Skipper also persistently chases Olivia.
The skipper becomes invincible with spinach! In the middle of the oil painting, David's plan is seen, centrally, in the "oval winning stone", where Goliath lies beaten on top. David intuitively threw the sling! With one of the five stones, he won over the giant!

What is your inner sword and invincible superpower?

The peacock in the middle heralds a new spring with light, the way and truth. At the bottom right, all the "bronze to the ground" lies after the many endless ego-power struggles. The 3 Muskrats on the left symbolize perseverance, the truth in the north, everything built on mountains stands, sand and lies fall.

The Skipper and Olivia circle the story and have the solution to peace, love and truth!

The original was invited to and exhibited during the successful collective exhibition Carrousel Du Louvre in Paris, October 20 - 22, 2023.

The mood of the paintings was very moving and all the aura around them and I love how you use your composition so well and every part of the painting has a meaning and nothing is left out. The textures in some of the originals add so much life and depth to the story that's already in your paintings. Your paintings make me want to experiment more and step out of my comfort zone and they make me want to get out there and create and let my mind speak through the paint brush.

I am amazed and thankful for excellent paintings by Anne Margrethe. She takes the motives from unlimited borders and combines them into surreal scenes with the deep meaning, which leaves the watcher in constant curiosity and open mind process. Symbols are taken from wide spheres, human being, nature, real and surreal world. Playing with the images opens and brings the ideas into intimate impression and gives the multitask message to any observer.
